VietNamNet Bridge –Thousand visitors arrived in Hoi to enjoy the closing ceremony of the traditional lantern festival and Ram Thang Gieng (the full-moon day of the first lunar month) on February 28.
Millions of lanterns were lit along Hoi An’s streets and the Hoai river on the evening of February 28.
Hoi An Vice-Chair Truong Van Bay said that next year the city would organize its third lantern festival. In mid-March, the city will also host “Hoi An Culture and Tourism Week.”
